I love the interior and comic book theme of the restaurant! Upon entering you are immediately greeted at the register where you can also find a whole tray of delicious cookies. I ordered on Snackpass, so luckily I did not need to wait long for my sandwich. I also appreciate the complementary lollipop that comes w/ each order. * Grogu - 8.5/10 (the portion size of the sandwiches here are very generous & i love the dutch crunch bread. i like how the cheese is melted onto the pesto, & that combined w/ the crave sauce really elevates the taste of the sub. my only complaint is that the chicken had good flavor, but it was a bit dry)

Soon after I posted my first review, the business reached out and apologized, and they comped me for my next sandwich! I appreciate that they took the extra effort to make up for the experience. It shows they care about the customers! I got something different this time, and I have no complaints! If I went back, I'd probably get the vegan goku again, just because it was different from most sandwiches (and it was really good).

My son enjoyed his sandwich, however he mentioned it costing him almost $40 for a large, with fries and a drink, the sandwich was large enough to split in half and eat it the next day, but the cost was way over the top for a college kid

Great sandwich shop. Don't let the prices scare you away. They easily last 2+ meals if you get a full sandwich. I've gotten the Patrick Star and the Crave Ruben in the past, and I highly recommend both sandwiches. It might not be my top chicken sandwich (Patrick star), but it is up there. The Ruben is one of the few Rubens that I've been able to find, in addition to it being full of meat and other veggies. The bread for the sandwiches is very solid. I always like a little texture since then it adds something to the overall meal. Service has always been fast and friendly. I've only ever gotten takeaway. I do plan on coming back and trying out more of the menu.

Crave subs offers really good subs and it makes it even better that they are halal as well. I have had a few of their sandwiches and honestly you can't go wrong with any. This was my go-to spot when in Berkeley & it continues to be when I am in the area. Order online for efficiency or you can sit down an eat inside as there are plenty of tables. I love the comic book feel of the place & its really just a solid spot to get that sub fix. Plus I highly recommend their curly fries, super addicting & honestly my favorite place for curly fries.

Came here because it was highly recommended online but was somewhat disappointed. The crunch bread was delicious and similar to Ike's. But the vegetarian version of our sub was bland and the fake chicken seemed like a slab of plain tofu rather than a meat substitute as expected. Staff was a little rude when asked for a side of jalapeños after ordering because there was no clear indication on their ordering screen when we placed our orders ourselves. Pretty small inside but bathrooms were clean and available.

Crave was my favorite sandwich spot in college and it holds up! It's definitely on the pricier side, but the sandwiches are so flavorful and loaded up with filling. I always get the Shaggy, which is turkey based. The dutch crunch bread here is some of the best I've ever had too. Looking forward to the next time I'm in Berkeley so I can grab another sandwich!!

I've been wanting to try this place and the portion size and value really did not disappoint. I was really hungry but could only eat half of the sandwich and I got a regular wazowski. The restaurant was also bigger than what I expected. The wazowski came with sweet grilled chicken, a generous amount of avocado, and pesto. I opted for Dutch crunch. All the ingredients were pretty fresh, but honestly, Mezzo has fresher ingredients. However, on a budget crave does the job. You also get 20% off your first order on Snackpass!
